Act 1 offers weekly classes in Drama, Dance and Singing for performers aged between 6 and 16. It is based at Taplow Village Hall. We offer separate classes over the course of 2 hours; 45 minutes of Drama, 45 minutes of Dance and 30 minutes of singing. We aim to help build the confidence of those who may be shy and to refine the skills of those who may not be quite so shy. Performing arts are a fantastic way to nurture imagination, creativity and social skills. Students also develop problem solving skills by being able to improvise and think on their feet.

We are proud to be independent which means we are able to tailor our classes to suit the students we have currently attending. There are theatre trips to see professional theatre companies and other outings such as back stage tours at working theatres so the students can appreciate all aspects that are an important part of making theatre. We also offer LAMDA exams in Acting and Musical Theatre for those wishing to take them.
